By accessing or using the Site or Services, purchasing a product, subscribing to our email list, or joining a membership tier, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

3. Our Products and Services

We offer the following, some or all of which may be updated from time to time:

  • Digital courses and project guides covering robotics, control theory, reinforcement learning, and related engineering topics, delivered electronically (video, downloadable files, written materials, CAD/STEP files, and code repositories).
  • Digital product bundles, including but not limited to project guides for robotic actuators, kinematics/dynamics courses, and related teaching materials.
  • Consulting and mentorship services, offered as scheduled sessions and subject to separate scope agreements where applicable.
  • YouTube channel membership tiers (e.g., Supporter, Builder, Insider), offering perks such as exclusive content, community access, or discounts, managed through YouTube’s membership platform and subject to YouTube’s own terms in addition to these Terms.
  • Email newsletter and lead magnets, delivered via our email service provider, which you may unsubscribe from at any time.

4. Educational Content Disclaimer — Not Professional or Safety Advice

Our content relates to robotics, electronics, and hardware construction, which can involve moving parts, electrical current, and mechanical systems that carry inherent risks of injury or property damage.

  • All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
  • You are solely responsible for exercising proper safety precautions, following manufacturer specifications for any components you use, and complying with applicable electrical and safety codes when building any hardware based on our content.
  • We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from your use of information, designs, code, or instructions provided through our Services.
  • Nothing in our courses, videos, or guides constitutes professional engineering advice or certification, and our content should not be used in safety-critical, medical, or life-support applications.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and within our courses, videos, guides, and digital products — including text, video, graphics, code, CAD files, and course structure — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

  • Purchasing a course, bundle, or guide grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the materials for your own individual or internal purposes.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, or repost our paid content, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.
  • Any code or CAD/STEP files provided as part of a course may be used in your own personal or commercial projects unless otherwise stated in the specific product listing, but the course materials themselves (video, written instruction, etc.) remain our property.

6. Payments and Pricing

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.
  • Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time; changes will not affect orders already placed.

7. Refund Policy

  • Digital products (courses, guides, bundles): Due to the digital and instantly accessible nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Memberships and subscriptions: You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Consulting/mentorship sessions: Sessions may be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice. No-shows are non-refundable.

8. Membership and Subscription Terms

  • YouTube channel memberships are billed and managed through YouTube/Google’s platform, and your relationship with YouTube for billing purposes is governed by YouTube’s Terms of Service.
  • Membership perks, tier benefits, and pricing may change with reasonable notice.
  • We reserve the right to remove membership access for violations of community guidelines, abusive conduct, or fraudulent activity, without refund.

When using our Site, community spaces, or comment sections, you agree not to:

  • Share, pirate, or resell paid content without authorization.
  • Post harassing, abusive, or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or functioning of the Site.
  • Misrepresent your identity for the purpose of fraud or unauthorized access to paid content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Consulting and Mentorship Terms

Consulting and mentorship services are advisory in nature. Any recommendations provided are based on general engineering knowledge and publicly available information at the time of the session. We are not liable for outcomes of projects developed using advice given during consulting sessions, and no formal engineer-of-record relationship is created through these services unless explicitly agreed to in a separate signed agreement.

14. Privacy
